Originally from San Diego, Mary Upchurch has been making audiences laugh at clubs and festivals across the country including Limestone, SLO, Cloud Top, and NoHo Comedy Festivals. Coining the term “Phoenix Funny”, she was the winner of House of Comedy’s Funniest Person Contest in 2019, she was a quarter-finalist in the World Series of Comedy in 2021 and she recorded her first special for Dry Bar Comedy set to be released in 2022. Mary is a ball of excitement, energy and enthusiasm with a pinch of self-deprecation and a dash of desperation. She is the host of Wings with Friends Podcast, a podcast about food, fun, and friends.
